Our main aim in Club na nOg is for everyone to have fun and to enjoy being in Na Piarsaigh playing hurling and Gaelic Football. The underage in Na Piarsaigh is going from strength to strength with a large increase in playing numbers.

With the success of our adult teams and Limerick hurling, it gives our children great role models to follow. From 5 to 10, the main activities for the boys and girls are our Saturday morning academy and over the last few years with the help of Thomas Cronin, we have developed a programme called FUNdamental Movement. We do this every Thursday evening and great Fun is had by all; whilst developing their Movement Skills in conjunction with the Fun.

We are very grateful to Thomas and all the underage coaches for the time and effort they put into making the club a great place for the children to be.

Our Saturday mornings draw to a close in early December with the Street League Finals. It is their 40th Anniversary this year and a special word of Thanks must go to Peter Boylan who has sponsored the street leagues from day 1.

We are working to drive Gaelic Football forward in the club. Over the last few years, we started Monday Night Football and the place is a hive of activity for this. The success of this is evident with the U13 footballers recently winning a Division 2 Football shield. Well done to Ciaran McHugh for his dedication to this team and all the football coaches for their hard work.

The highlight of the season from a championship playing perspective was the Under 15 county final win over Ahane. This team were also unlucky to lose the Feile final to Ahane earlier in the year.

Other teams had mixed success, but all competed very well during the season. We have several players on all the Limerick academy teams. Well done to all of these for this achievement and the best of luck to them representing Limerick into the future.

The camogie club is really moving forward at present with numbers growing in every age group. The U16’s had a brilliant win in the League. And the club ran a Camogaton, which was a great day out in the club for all to enjoy.

  1. Hi, mike fox here from ballylanders. I’m hoping to get a list of phone numbers of coaches over your na Pairsaigh u7/u9/u11/u13 football teams, so we would have a list of phone numbers for our coaches to contact for games during the year. If this is something you could help with we would very much appreciate it.
    Thanks
