Na Piarsaigh GAA Club, located in Caherdavin, Limerick, is a prominent Gaelic Athletic Association club founded in 1968. Dedicated to promoting traditional Irish sports such as hurling, Gaelic football, camogie, and rounders, the club is renowned for its success across these disciplines. Na Piarsaigh has achieved significant victories at county, provincial, and national levels, including multiple Limerick Senior Hurling Championships and the prestigious All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship title in 2016. Deeply rooted in the community, the club fosters youth development and is committed to sportsmanship and excellence, cementing its reputation as a leading force in Irish GAA.

The Na Piarsaigh GAA Club that stands strong today is a testament to the dedication and commitment of past members. Their unwavering efforts have built the robust foundations upon which we thrive. In 2023, we embarked on a 3-year strategic plan to honour their legacy and build a brighter future for our club.
Honouring the Past: Our predecessors invested time, energy, and resources to create a club with state-of-the-art facilities, community spirit, and principles of teamwork, inclusivity, and excellence that we uphold today.
Nurturing the next generation of athletes
The club won a junior title in 1990, an All-Ireland Junior 7’s in 1992, and then victory in the intermediate final of 1994.
Building for the Future:
Our new 3-year strategy aims to enhance our facilities, expand programmes, and deepen community engagement, nurturing a vibrant environment for all. Key initiatives include:
Youth Development: Expanding programmes to nurture the next generation of athletes.
Facilities: Sustainably maintaining pitches to support training and matches, balancing environmental responsibility with player needs.
Community Events: Hosting regular events to strengthen community bonds. Our state-of-the-art clubhouse and sports hall host fitness, wellness, and social activities for all members.
Financial Stability: Ensuring sustainable growth through diverse revenue streams.
A great era of success for our club
Many Na Piarsaigh men have played pivotal roles in bringing Liam McCarthy back to Limerick on 5 occasions since 2018.
The vision and hard work of Na Piarsaigh’s past members have given us a strong platform. Today, we build on that legacy, ensuring Na Piarsaigh GAA Club continues to grow and flourish for years to come. Through our 3-year strategy, we honour the past, embrace the present, and shape the future.
