We had an excellent workshop last Monday evening with over 110 people in attendance. The night commenced with a few words from our President Frank Kavanagh and Chairman Risteard O’Flaherty. Following this, our Secretary Lavinia Duggan held a brief Q&A with senior Camogie player Katie Campbell, senior hurler Adrian Breen, and Seoirse Laffan, who was on the winning team for the Limerick Scór Tráth na gCeist last year.
Ger Corkery and Seamus Twomey, both of the Limerick Co Board took the reigns to run the brainstorming and planning session. The main two themes of the evening were what does Na Piarsaigh do well, and what can Na Piarsaigh improve upon. There were some brilliant ideas and views given by those in attendance, which certainly food for thought.
We would like to say a big thank you to Ger and Seamus, who ran the event seamlessly. Our follow up meeting will take place at the beginning of February with notification going out closer to the time. Looking forward to seeing everyone back along with some new additions as well.
Thank you to everyone for attending.
