The Limerick senior hurlers had a hard fought win over Westmeath in Mullingar winning on a scoreline of 1-20 to 0-17. As with last weeks win over Antrim, Na Piarsaigh had Emmet McEvoy and Conor Boylan lining out for the Treaty men. Emmet played the full 70 plus minutes at full back while Conor entered the game after 50 minutes and chipping in with a valuable point. Limerick have Dublin up next on the 24th of February in Croke Park

Schools Camogie

Laurel Hill had another great win, this time in the Division 1 First & Second Year Camogie Final. Na Piarsaigh had representatives both on and off the pitch with Rosie McCaul and Ellie Lavin in a playing capacity and Sinead McNamara in a teacher/coaching role. This being another sign of positive growth for Camogie in Na Piarsaigh. Well done to all involved.

Fitzgibbon Cup

The semi-finals of the Fitzgibbon Cup take place this coming Wednesday. Na Piarsaigh’s interest lies with Mary I as they take on SETU Waterford in Mallow at 5.15pm. Our own Vince Harrington is involved with the Limerick college and we wish him and his team mates all the best in their attempts to reach the final. The other semi-final sees the pairing of NUIG and UL.

Thank you to all our coaches who volunteer and give their time. A gentle reminder that all coaches are required to ensure their safe guarding / Garda Vetting is up to date in advance of coaching sessions commencing. If in doubt check it out.
