Abseiling Fun Raiser

Next Saturday May 25th, 30 Na Piarsaigh volunteers will be abseiling down Thomond Park to raise money for our Bord na nÓg. All funds raised go towards the development of our underage hurlers and footballers, and the Na Piarsaigh stars of tomorrow. Donations can be made to the individuals taking part or to the club directly at the below link. All support is massively appreciated and we look forward to seeing a big turnout on the Saturday to cheer on our abseilors.

U13 Football

Our u13 footballers made the trip to Kilteely on Monday, May 13th. The game ebbed and flowed, with both sides having excellent passages of play. They say goals win games, and hitting the net four times ensured the lads came out on top in a very competitive game, with all squad members making an impact over the 40 minutes of football. Final score: Na Piarsaigh 4-6 Pallasgreen 2-5

U13 Hurling Division 3A

Our young u13 squad travelled to St Kieran's on Thursday, May 16th. In a very competitive first half, the lads got some beautiful scores. They defended their goal with great determination, with some excellent high fielding, hooking, and blocking. They went to the break a point up. Conditions deteriorated in the 2nd half, and although the lads battled to the end, the much bigger home side tacked on a few goals to secure the win. Once again, all 26 players got game time as the squad continues to develop.

Ardscoil Rís

Congratulations to Ardscoil Rís on winning the Rice Cup, beating Nenagh CBS 3-14 to 0-15. Special mention to our lads Ronan Gleeson Cian Moore Conal O’Brien, Ross O'Flanagan, Liam Sheehan, Daniel O'Donovan, Joe Daly, Charlie Ryan, George Stack & Harry O’Sullivan.
Also, congratulations to Na Piarsaighs Charlie Ryan, who was awarded the 1st year hurling player of the year at the Ardscoil Ris awards 2024 and Shane Waters who was awarded the u15 Corn Aodh Ui Dudha hurling player of the year.

Thank You to Rockhall Vets

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Kathy Enright and Rockhall Vets for their very kind donation towards our Abseiling Fundraiser for Na Piarsaigh Bord na nÓg. We would encourage all our members and friends to support our sponsors where possible. Because of the continued support from our many valued sponsors we are able to maintain and improve our facilities for all our members.
Pictured on Thursday at the Rockhall Vets Ennis Road clinic were Bord na nÓg Secretary Peter Sheehan, senior hurler Micheal Foley, Laura, and Michael both of Rockhall Vets, and Kathy Enright, also of Rockhall Vets. They were joined by our underage stars Cathal and Conor Sheehan, Harry Ryan, along with Jonas and Freya Mangan.
