Abseiling For Na Piarsaigh

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who took part in our abseiling fundraiser in Thomond Park on Saturday last. We had a brilliant morning, MC’d by I Love Limerick’s Richard Lynch, where 35 brave Na Piarsaigh members abseiled down the back of the North Stand. Money is still being counted but we are now looking at breaking the €15k mark. Massive credit must go to Anna Walsh for her exceptional organising of both the event and the recruitment of the abseilors. Thank you also to everyone who made donations towards the event over the last few months and to those that came out to cheer on all our participants.

Mayorstone Vs Caherdavin

An under-11 hurling match took place in Na Piarsaigh on Saturday afternoon between Mayorstone and Caherdavin parishes. A brilliant game was played between 2 teams made up of solely Na Piarsaigh players. Two parishes, one club! Can anyone tell us when the last time a hurling match took place between these 2 teams? Answers in the comments please..

While two days later, Ardscoil went on to win the Limerick Colleges A Final, beating Castletroy College convincingly in UL. Na Piarsaigh men Sean O'Brien, Shane Waters, Sean Connolly(injured) & Charlie Ryan all involved.

Launch of Na Piarsaigh Strategy

Save the date, Tuesday the 4th of June as we invite all members and friends to join us in launching our 3-year club strategy. The pillar groups worked so hard to build out our strategy based on all the input from our culture evening back in January. The final touches are being put to the document as it goes forward for final design. This has been a great collaborative piece of work with input from across the club. We look forward to Donie O'Gorman Club Plan Coordinator sharing back the overview on the 4th of June and we hope you can all join us.

Summer Camp

Our summer camps will run for 1 week in July, the 1st to the 5th, and a second week in August, the 19th to the 23rd. Catering from ages 6-12 with full details available on ClubZap. All are welcome including non-members.

Business Breakfast

We are delighted to say that our inaugural Corporate Business Breakfast fundraiser on the 7th of June is almost sold out, having received a resounding response from the business community. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our facilities to so many.

New Furniture!

Big thank you to Martin, Ger, Timmy, Kathleen and Bernie for helping sort the new furniture for the hall during the week. Fair play guys.
