A fantastic win for our U13 footballers over Athea in the county final on Saturday morning. Played in what were extremely wet conditions in Martinstown, it didn’t faze our lads who put in an exceptional performance. Well done to all involved. Final score: Na Piarsaigh 3-05 Athea 0-07

4th of July Celebrations

We're delighted to announce our 4th of July celebrations in the clubhouse next Thursday evening. Hosted by our new bar manager Mark Cooney, a great evening lies in store with a BBQ and music from Limerick's Downtown Dixieland Jazz Band. Looking forward to seeing you all there from 6.30 onwards.

Senior Football

A tough night at the office for our senior footballers last Friday evening. While entering the game with a long list of injuries, our young team that took to the field must be commended for their exceptional work rate and application throughout the 60 minutes. It was certainly a difficult evening but will no doubt stand to these lads in the games that lay ahead. It must be notes the challenges that our manager Micheál Lynch had to tackle with in the build up to this years championship. Four of our regular starters were unavailable due to injury with Evan Sweeney, Cathal McMullan, Evan O’Brien and Shane Walsh all ruled out. Eoghain Sherlock, Ruaidhrí O’Conail, Ian Leonard and Jack Barry were all away for the game while Dean, Ralph and Dylan were all carrying injuries into the tie. The opening minutes of the game saw our centre back Conor Mc Loughlin suffering a serious shoulder. We wish Conor a speedy recovery. A huge positive to take were the multiple senior debuts. The two Jordan brothers, Adam and Daragh both lining out at 10 and 12 respectively, along Tommy Glynn, he having flown back from Germany especially for the game. Louis Murphy, Matty Walsh and Standley Dike all made their debuts off the bench. While Friday was a tough evening, better days lay ahead for our lads.

Round 2 sees us take on Ballylanders next Friday evening at 7.45pm in Hospital.

A huge week ahead for the Camogie side of the house with the U14's and U16's contesting County Cup Finals as follows:

U16A League Final Na Piarsaigh/Treaty Gaels v Kileedy, Mick Neville Park, Tuesday 6.45pm

U14 Treaty League Final Na Piarsaigh v Blackrock / Effin, Cappamore, Thursday 7pm

Féile Peile na nÓg

Our Féile Peile team were narrowly defeated in the plate semi-final on Saturday, by a very talented Finuge team of Kerry. The competition was held in Dr. Morris Park in Thurles with Clooney Quin of Clare, Rathvilly of Carlow, and O’Dempseys of Laois in our group. It has been a fantastic achievement and experience for our lads to make it the national competition and we commend all the players and management for the exceptional work put in this year.

Limerick Masters Hurling 2024

We would like to wish players Eddie O’Neill and Derek Grimes, along with selector Mike Flynn all the best in the Intercounty Masters Hurling Championship which takes place later in the summer.
