U15 Hurlers Claim Limerick Féile na nGael Title

Monday the 21st of April was a special day for all in Na Piarsaigh with our U15 hurlers winning our first Limerick Féile na nGael title since 2019. Our lads got off to a great start in the group stage on Saturday with a win against Doon and Mungret along with a share of the spoils against Monaleen. This guaranteed us finishing top of the group and set up a meeting with Kilmallock in the semi-final on Easter Monday. The Na Piarsaigh boys entered the knockout phase with the bit between their teeth and powered through the Kilmallock challenge on Monday morning. This set up a repeat of the 2024 U14 championship final with our fierce rivals Monaleen. Having drawn with them in the group stage, you could sense the team was only improving and it showed in what was a fantastic display in the final. A 6-point win for the North Siders and a ticket to the Féile na nGael national competition in Wexford at the end of June.

Limerick Féile na nGael Champions 2025
A wonderful achievement for this group of players and their management for the great work put in not only this year but all the way back to when these young men started in our Saturday morning academy. Credit also must go to the parents and families for supporting the players and management to this point.

Once again, a huge thank you to our Féile team sponsors.

Senior Football League - Na Piarsaigh 1-06 Galtee Gaels 1-09
Report: Con Daly

Our Senior footballers made the long trip to Kilbeheny on Saturday to take on Galtee Gaels in the final round of County League. We started well with Gordon Brown scoring a 2-point free. Our defence once again kept their forwards from getting too many scoring chances. Our best move came about at the 15 mins mark when Gordon Brown passed to Harry McGann, who had made an excellent run from halfway. He found Sam Jordan in space on the left wing, cut through and passed to James, who slotted home from outside the parallelogram. We led 1-03 to 2pts.
On the 20 minute mark we suffered a hammer blow when our solid fullback Conor McLoughlin, who was playing superbly, sustained a bad leg injury which is likely to keep him from playing for some time. Gordon Brown scored another 2pt free and a 1pt free while James Daly scored 1 pt.
Half time score Na Piarsaigh 1-06 Galtee Gaels 1-03
Galtee Gaels played with a strong breeze in the 2nd half and dominated most of the play. We found it difficult to break through their defence and did not score in the second half.

We have qualified for the semi-final of the Divisional Section, which is likely to take place in 2 weeks time.

Team: James Linnane, Diarmuid Ryan, Conor McLoughlin, Aaron Rush, Adam Jordan, Ronan Houlihan, Harry McGann, Cathal McMullan, Jack McCarthy, Eoghan Vukovic, Gordon Brown, Fionn O’Tiarnaigh, Sam Jordan, Stanley Dike, James Daly.
Subs: Ian Leonard, Ruaidhrí Ó Connail and Mark Hogan. John Leahy injured in warm up.
