Sunday afternoon will see our senior hurlers face-off against Kilmallock in this year's county semi-final, a repeat of the 2024 fixture. We emerged victorious by the slimmest of margins in last year's affair in what was a rip-roaring game played in a winterish Mick Neville Park. A fortuitous goal on our behalf being the deciding factor on the day. We enter this year's semi-final in similar circumstances having had a comfortable win over Kilmallock in the group. Our lads know well not to be complacent as Sunday’s knock-out clash will prove to be a completely different encounter. Kilmallock will be looking to make up for the result in the group along with avenging last year's semi-final outcome. They ground out an extra-time win over an ever improving Monaleen side in the quarter-final two weeks ago, and will enter Sunday’s game with some wind in their sails.

Our intermediate hurlers enter Saturday's semi-final having scored a healthy victory over Cappamore in the quarter-final 2 weeks ago. It was certainly their best performance of the year having battled through a 1-point win over Knockainey the week previous. Murroe Boher will be strong favorites to make this year's county final having eased past us in round 3 and topping the group but our lads will not shy away from the challenge that lies before them.
