Na Piarsaigh Seniors played Mungret in the county league on Wednesday night in the club and had to fight hard to earn a draw. It was 1-5 Na Piarsaigh to 8 points Mungret at half time. However Mungret went into a 3 points lead early in the second half but Evan Sweeney showed his class slotting home a well worked goal and scoring 2x2 pointers to leave the match level at full time. Our backs were very solid again and midfield and forwards all worked tirelessly to keep us in the match. We now have 7 points in the league table and level with Mungret. Our final league match is away against Galtee Gaels on 26th April.
